The annual Climate Leadership Conference is North America’s premier event dedicated to addressing the climate crisis through policy, innovation, and business solutions. Hosted by the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES) and The Climate Registry, the conference brings together forward-thinking leaders from business, government, academia, and the non-profit community to explore energy and climate solutions and opportunities, and to showcase climate leadership.
Detroit, MIThe conference will bring to light the latest challenges and developments currently being faced in the industry and what is foreseen in the future. The two-day conference brings together senior experts from various industries discussing the sustainable, technological a commercial aspects of CO2 Utilization in North America and across the globe. With technology comparisons focusing on economic, environmental and social indicators, our panel of speakers will highlight knowledgeable insights into commercial developments and applications.
Orlando, FLOn 25 – 26 February 2020, 600+ government officials and leading private sector professionals working on CCUS project development and climate change initiatives from over 16 countries will come together for Saudi Arabia’s inaugural International Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage Conference (iCCUS) at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaThe Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) recently released a report warning that even a global warming of 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels would be life threatening for millions of people, stressing the urgency to cut CO2 emissions by 45% by 2030 (and reach carbon neutrality by 2050). In this context where incremental innovation will not be sufficient, this GRS aims to gather the concrete specialists of tomorrow to envision and discuss the drastic shifts necessary for the cement and concrete technologies to meet such ambitious (but necessary) sustainability goals
Ventura, CAConnect to the people and companies with the power to deliver a decarbonized future at Cleantech Forum San Francisco on 27-29 January 2020.
San Francisco, CAThe Conference aims to create a platform to share learnings from the pilot and exchange and key thoughts in Industrial Carbon Capture with fellow experts, stakeholders and industry leaders. Updates on other industrial developments in CCUS will complete the picture.
The exchange of ideas will be facilitated through a combination of engaging keynote speakers including high Level representation of key EU Directorates and the Boards of HeidelbergCement, Lhoist and Cemex, lively panel discussions and interactive workshops
Geleen, NetherlandsThe VERGE Carbon conference focuses on unlocking the value of carbon pollution by sequestering it and using it to create innovative products, materials and services, bringing together professionals from product and materials innovation, building and construction, land management, energy production, forestry, food and agriculture, and supply chains.
The VERGE Carbon conference will offer inspiring and informative sessions across three program tracks:
Biological: Farms & Forests sponsored by American Forests
Carbontech: Fuels & Materials Innovation
Sequestration: Industry & Utilities

London Intercontinental Hotel Park Lane, London, EnglandJoin us for a discussion on the next frontier in climate change solutions: capturing, sequestering, and utilizing atmospheric carbon.
About this Event
While many industries can move to carbon-free energy sources, others, like cement production, materials manufacturing, and liquid fuels, have serious technical barriers to fully decarbonizing. Additionally, at the rate we are currently pumping carbon into the atmosphere, mitigation strategies will be necessary to avoid the worst effects of climate change coming this century.
Capturing this atmospheric carbon and converting it to something with economic value is one solution to many of these problems, and we are seeing a number of exciting technologies and businesses emerge to rise to this challenge. This panel will discuss these challenges and the related opportunities for innovation, as well as the current and future policy decisions, such a price on carbon, necessary to enable this future.

In the past few years, carbontech has grown from a relative niche curiosity into a climate change mitigation imperative. To meet Paris Agreement goals, 6 gigatonnes of CO2 per year must be removed from the atmosphere as early as 2030. This emerging sector, which has received more than $1B in capital from private, philanthropic, and government sources, includes CO2 conversion into products, carbon dioxide removal from both natural and engineered systems, and permanent sequestration. The sector is becoming increasingly relevant to mature industries like electricity, oil and gas, agriculture, transportation, and manufacturing.
This event will explore the most important recent trends and advances in carbontech in four key areas: the role of entrepreneurs, private investors, corporates, and policymakers. XPRIZE’s Circular Carbon Network initiative is partnering with the Canadian Consulate in New York, Columbia University, CO2 Value Europe, Global CO2 Initiative, and Carbon180 to bring together this half-day event during Climate Week. Join us for a lively and informative discussion by a diverse and international lineup of speakers, and lightning talks by carbontech entrepreneurs. Reception to follow.
*Doors will open at 1:00pm for coffee and networking, The Summit program will start promptly at 1:30pm. Reception will follow at 5:30pm.
